A staircase built using Alto Universal Stairs installed onto tube and fitting scaffolding.

The Alto Universal Stair is a versatile all-aluminium access solution for the tube and fitting scaffolder, allowing a totally compliant staircase to be installed across a range of lift heights to suit any situation.

Supplied pre-assembled, the Alto Universal Stair requires only to be unfolded, attached to the desired scaffold tube and locked with a scaffolders spanner.

Like all Alto products the Alto Universal Stair is designed to be effective and durable and is fully compliant with BS EN 12811 in all permissible configurations.

There are six models in the range covering lift heights from 0.5m to 3.36m making the Alto Universal Stair hugely versatile.

Alto Universal Stair Units accept both our own proprietary handrails and standard tube and fitting parts to allow creation of handrails to suit the site. Alto Universal Handrails are available for all models. They fold flat for transport, simply unfold, drop into the sockets and tighten the securing pins with a scaffolders spanner.

Designed to give scaffolders a cost-effective stair access solution with practical, reliable and compliant equipment. The Alto Universal Stair copes admirably with varying lift heights and floor levels, giving level treads across the permitted range of stair angles.

Made to fit 48mm tube and fitting scaffolding. With this product you can quickly install a fully compliant stair access to your scaffold. The Alto Universal Stair can be installed using only a scaffolders spanner to operate the locking mechanisms.

The Alto Universal Scaffold Stair is available in 6 standard heights from stock. Non-standard widths & heights are also available as special order items.
