The Alto MD Stairwell-Pro Tower is an access tower designed specifically for the use on domestic and commercial staircases. It not only gives users a fully certified, compliant product to the latest safety standard, but also the flexibility to create towers off level ground with a coordinating add-on kit of mini tower components.

The Alto MD Stairwell-Pro Tower is a BS 1139 compliant single-man access tower designed specifically for the use on domestic and commercial staircases.

It is designed and manufactured using the same aluminium extrusions and processes as the MD Ladderspan Tower. This means you get the same strength, durability and performance that you can trust, embodied in a compact footprint, designed for stairs.

The Alto MD Stairwell-Pro Tower is integrated with the Alto Mini Tower giving owners the opportunity to maximise utilization of their tower equipment.

Mini Tower Compatibility

The Alto Stairwell-Pro Tower is designed to integrate directly with the Alto Mini Tower, so the two systems can be used together to maximise fleet/equipment utilisation.

Walkthrough Frames

The Alto MD Stairwell-Pro Tower has introduced the first practicable Walkthrough Base Frame. These frames give full access in confined spaces whilst the tower is still assembled. Access to the first platform is gained by utilising the clip-on ladder. This substantially improves emergency exit arrangements and productivity by reducing site bottlenecks.

FEATURES

Stub Stabilisers

As standard, the tower is supplied with ground-level stabilisers. These can be orientated and angled to suit varying degrees of change in the floor and can be positioned directly onto individual stair treads. Additional stub stabilisers are available to allow the tower to be braced off adjacent walls for taller applications or where ground-level stabilisation is not practicable.

Tied-In Towers

As with all other Alto towers, the Alto Stairwell-Pro Tower can be securely tied in using standard scaffold couplers and components to provide additional support and stability, ensuring the safety of the users. This practice is a proven method of enhancing the stability of the structure.
